When someone is actively searching for properties on your search site that is when you have the highest opportunities to have a LIVE conversation with them. Being able to chat with your leads is another option you have through CINC to build a connection while they are online.
This article is meant to show you how Chat works and what your leads are seeing when you chat them.
To view the leads that are currently online, you can start with selecting the small globe symbol in the top right corner of your browser window.
When you click on that symbol, you will see your activity as well as who is online at the bottom. "Mark Test" is currently online.
There are a few different things that you can do when you see someone online. First, you can click on their name in blue. This will take you to their lead profile to view all of the details for that lead.
The other thing you can do is click on the white space next to their name in blue. This will open the actual chat message. You will see a white box that says "Type your message". This is where you can type a message to the lead. Hit "enter" on your keyboard or the "SEND" button you see below to send the message.
Once you have sent your message, a small box will show up on the lead's screen in the bottom right corner.
When they click on that box, it will open your chat message.
The lead can then respond to your message in the same way that you sent them a message. The below photo is how the chat is shown to the lead:
When the lead replies, you can receive a notification. Here's what that will look like via email:
