How To Use The Calendar Follow
We have recently changed our Calendar feature! You may have already read our help article about the new "Agenda" view of the calendar. If not, we would recommend checking that out for a more detailed look at the Agenda view.
We have made some adjustments based on the feedback that we have received from you, our clients!
For starters, when you first go to the Calendar section of your site, you will be taken to the Agenda view. This article is meant to describe the other new areas of the calendar.
For a general overview of the Calendar (see separate article for agenda view), here's the info:
1. CINC CALENDARS
This section on the left side of your screen will allow you to see your team's calendar. By default, you will see your own but you do have the ability to view the rest of the team's calendars. You can check the box next to their names and it will show you their events. If they have a private event, you will only be able to see a small lock symbol and the time. You will not be able to see the details of the event.
2. CALENDAR COLOR CODING
Purple = your personal CINC events
Red = your personal events created in Google (if you're utilizing our integration with Google)
Blue = your team's events
3. GOOGLE INTEGRATION
We have a spiffy integration with Google where your Google calendar events will show on your calendar in CINC and your CINC events will show in your Google calendar. The same integration also allows you to access your Gmail inbox within the CINC platform. Please search for "Gmail inbox" to find that help article in our help section.
- If you're using the Google integration and you have multiple calendars through Google or even shared calendars, you'll see those underneath "GOOGLE CALENDARS" and choose to view/unview those.
4. CREATING NEW EVENTS
To create a new event, you can select the symbol in the top right that is a calendar with a plus sign over it. See photo below for reference.
