Google Integration - Gmail OR Calendar Follow
With our Google Integration, you have the option to utilize just the Calendar integration or the Gmail integration if you do not want to utilize both. If you're only looking to use one part of the integration and not the other, you are in the right place!
The first thing you want to do to get started is to find out if you're currently integration with Google through CINC. You can check this by going into your profile and settings. You can get there by clicking on your name in the top right corner and selecting "Profile & Settings".
This will take you to your Profile & Settings. From here, you'll want to select Integrations.
Once you select Integrations, you will see the information about the Google Integration at the top.
If you have previously logged into your Gmail, your email will be in this area. If not, you will see this:
Now that you know whether you have the integration or not, please use the corresponding directions below to set up 1) JUST Google Calendar or 2) JUST Gmail.
START HERE IF YOU ONLY WANT TO INTEGRATE YOUR GOOGLE CALENDAR (and NOT Gmail)
PART 1. If you see "Enable Google Integration" in your profile and settings, start here.
You'll want to click on "Enable Google Integration" and this will open a new small window to log in to a Google account. You'll need to choose an account to log in with.
Once you pick an account or log in, you will be taken to a page asking for you to "Allow" mycinc.com access to the below items. Mycinc.com is our internal site that helps keep this integration as safe as possible. It will not show your personal site and this is completely normal! When you're ready and have read the terms of service, click on Allow.
After you click "Allow", you will see that you can now close that window.
Now, your Google account will be integrated. Since you are only looking to integrate your calendar, there's another small step that you need to take. You'll see that next to Gmail and Google Calendar that it says "Enabled". You'll need to click on "Enabled" next to Gmail and change it to "Disabled". Once you change it to "Disabled", please click on Update to save those changes.
You should see this when you have saved those changes. This will confirm that you are only using the Google Calendar integration.

This does not show the disclaimer that CINC requires. The disclaimer says CINC will access *all* of our Google information. We only want to integrate our Google Calendar.
Hi Jerry,
Within the disclaimers is a list of what information CINC will have access to in regards to your Google Account. Should you decide to move forward with Google's Integration with CINC, within the Google Integration tab of your Agent Profile, I'd advise to disable Google Tasks and Gmail associated with your Google Account to only have the Google Calendar Integration enabled.
If you have any additional questions regarding Google Integrations please don't hesitate contactingCINC Support at 855-246-2717 or email support@cincpro.com.
Thank you!
Jenn
