How Do You Get a Branded Site? Follow
Getting a branded site is a great addition to your site and is the best way to market yourself, your team, and what you all bring to the table when it comes to your services.
Please note that the owner of the CINC site and primary account holder must be the one to complete the branded site setup process. Linking the branded site to the CINC search site is free of charge, but obtaining the domain name is the responsibility of the site owner. Once the decision has been made to get a branded site then here are some steps to follow to get the branded site setup:
1. Purchase or obtain the domain name that you wish to use for the branded site, if you do not already have one. Again, this is the responsibility of the owner of the CINC search site.
2. Navigate to your CINC search site and build out the content on your branded site using the Page Editor tool.
3. Once you have finished constructing your branded site, contact CINC support to have the necessary settings placed to complete the setup process.
PLEASE NOTE: If you intend to host email addresses with the branded site domain then please let us know who you are hosting the email addresses through and provide us with the appropriate MX records to make sure those email addresses stay functional.
4. Once CINC support has confirmed that your branded site domain has been setup properly, you must go into the domain settings and change the DNS Nameserver Records. Please call CINC Support to obtain the DNS records that you will need.
After the DNS nameserver records have been updated, it may take up to 24 hours for these changes to take affect and for your domain to point to your branded site when you visit the page.
Finally, once the branded site has propagated and is live, you can go ahead and create custom pages, seller suite pages, and landing pages that are specific to your search site, branded site, or both.
