Agent Subdomains Follow
Agent Subdomains are the perfect opportunity for agents and partners on a team-based platform to self-promote their CINC home search site.
All CINC Users are already automatically set up with an Agent Subdomain when your account is created on the platform. You can easily find your Agent Subdomain within your Profile and Settings and you also have the option to modify it. How to edit your subdomain is detailed further down in the article.
As a CINC User, there are several benefits to promoting your unique Agent Subdomain:
- Any lead generated by accessing the search site through your Agent Subdomain will automatically be assigned to you!
- Your Profile picture and Contact information is highlighted at the top of the home search page. This includes Agent Social Media links in your Profile!
The default format of your Agent Subdomain is as follows:
https://YourFirstName.YourCINCSiteURL.com
Let's get a little technical and break this down:
1. For CINC subdomains, the First Name listed in your Agent Profile simply replaces the www. portion of the URL for your team's CINC website.
2. Your CINC Site URL is of course the domain name of your CINC website.
Important: Should you share the same First Name with another member of your team, you must make your Agent Subdomain unique. We require this because there needs to be differentiation with each team member's Agent Subdomain to avoid confusion when the system assigns the leads being generated.
A simple way to make your subdomain unique is to edit it and use the format below instead:
https://YourFirstandLastName.YourCINCSiteURL.com
If you're new to a team using CINC and also share the same First Name with any current team members we've got you covered! Our system will automatically default your Agent Subdomain to the above format to make it unique!
Let's see what this looks like in action using our CINC Agent named Jenn Realtor:
In the image above you can see Jenn Realtor's Agent Subdomain is as follows: https://jennrealtor.cincdomain.com
or jennrealtor.cincdomain.com which is simply the shortened version of the URL above.
Above you'll also notice we've highlighted the Agent Subdomain site banner which will auto-populate information from your Profile including your Profile Picture, Full Name & Cell Phone Number.
We'll also include any links listed within the Agent Social Media section of your Profile and Settings. Click here to learn how to add Social Media to your subdomain.
As you can see, this Agent Subdomain banner allows your contact information to stand out on your and makes it easy for your clients to reach out and find any additional online presences you may have!
How to Edit Your Subdomain:
Navigate to Profile and Settings by clicking on your CINC Profile located in the upper right side of your Dashboard.
Underneath the Site Subdomain update your name. Note: You can only update your name--you cannot update the actual domain/CINC website URL. Be sure to click Update when you are finished!
