Disabling or the act of removing an Agent, Partner or Broker Level User can be necessary if someone on your team no longer uses the CINC platform or if they have left your team.
Once you have Disabled a User, they will no longer have access to the CINC Platform, this includes removing access to any of the Mobile Apps. The disabled User's profile will also be hidden by default from your site's Agent's List.
To disable a User from the site, you will first need to navigate to the Manage Agents section of your platform. You do this by selecting Agents from your left side navigation menu which will then automatically land on your Manage Agents page.
Note: Only Broker Level Users have access to the Agents section of the CINC site.
Next, find the agent that you need to remove by scrolling through your agent's list or by using the the magnifying glass at the top of your screen to Search for the agent.
From the Agent's card, select the red Disable button.
Disabling Agents with Leads and/or Follow Up Items Assigned
If the CINC User you'll be Disabling has any leads, reminders and/or tasks currently assigned to them a pop up window will appear that states the following (image below). We make it a point to inform the Broker of this because any leads and/or follow up items must be assigned to someone else or they will be at risk of becoming hidden from the Broker's view after the Agent's been Disabled.
As you can see above, you do have the option of pressing Cancel to manually reassign leads and reminders from the Leads Dashboard.
Should you select Next and have us walk you through the Reassigning and Disabling process it will look like the quick video below. In this example, we're walking the Broker through Disabling Matt CincTest, a Buyer Agent with 6 leads assigned and 2 reminders.
Pro Tip: Creating a label for that agent and applying it to all their leads before reassigning them can help you remember which leads were theirs for future reference. i.e. "Matt's Previous Leads"
Disabling Agents without any Leads or Follow Up Assigned
If the CINC User you'll be Disabling does not have any leads, reminders or tasks assigned to them in the system a pop up with the following message appears instead.
From here you can simply confirm you wish to remove or Disable the Agent.
View or Re-Activate Disabled Agents
To View any Agents you've Disabled on your Agent's List select the Show Disabled Agents button located at the top left of your Manage Agents Page.
Disabled Agents will resurface on your Agent's list and those User profiles will be tagged as Disabled in red text.
In order to Re-Activate a Disabled User Account click on the Agent's name in blue.
This will automatically bring you into the disabled Agent's Profile and Settings. Select the Advanced Tab from the Profile to access the Advanced Settings.
Under Status change the Agent from Disabled to any of the other options available. Be sure to select Update to save your changes.
