In some instances you may need to reassign a lead from one agent, partner or listing agent to another. This article will go over how to reassign one lead, mass reassign many leads to one agent and mass reassigning to many agents.
Reassign one lead:
Reassigning a lead to another agent, partner or listing agent can be done in two places in your CINC platform. This action can be performed either on the lead dashboard or from within the info section of a lead. To reassign from the lead dashboard, find the column on the very right hand side of the page titled 'Assigned To'. In this column you will see 3 assignment positions. The top position is the buyers agent that is assigned. The middle position is the partner (usually a lender) that is assigned to the lead. The bottom position is the listing agent that is assigned to the lead.
Click on whichever agent you want to reassign and a list of other agents will come up. Click on the agent that you want to reassign the lead to and now the lead is reassigned to that agent. The agent will receive a lead reassignment alert to by email, text and/or push notification. Another option in the list of agent to reassign to is the option to reassign to the routing engine. This will send the lead back through the lead routing settings that you have set up and assign based on that.
This same process of reassigning one lead at a time works in the info section of the lead detail. Just click on a lead's name to open up their profile, click on the info tab of their profile and then locate the assignment section on the right side of the info section. Click on the agent's name that you want to reassign and choose the agent you want to reassign to from the list that appears.
Mass Reassign Leads:
Mass reassigning leads can only be done from the lead dashboard. First you will want to use filters to get the list of leads you need to reassign or you can just start selecting lead you want to reassign by click the check box to the left of each lead's name. Once you have the leads selected that you want to reassign, click on the mass actions button and choose the "reassign agents" option from the mass actions list.
Once you click on reassign agents, a pop up box will come up where you can choose the buyer agent, partner or listing agent to assign to.
You do not have to pick a person for each dropdown. If you only want to reassign the buyer, only choose an agent from the top dropdown and do not choose anything for the others. Once you have chosen the desired agent to reassigned to, click apply, we will ask you if you are sure you want to do this and once you say yes, we will tell you that your action has been queued for processing. The mass action will take place in the background while you continue to work. This can take anywhere between a couple of minutes to 15 or more minutes depending on how many reassignments are taking place. Once the action is completed, a confirmation will appear on your screen that the mass action is done. If you then refresh your page, you will notice the assignment changes have taken place. Agents do not receive a lead reassignment notification when this is done in mass like they do when you reassign one at a time, so be sure to let an agent know that you just assigned a bunch of leads to them. To mass reassign to agents based on your lead routing settings instead of just choosing one agent, choose routing engine from the list of reassign agents.
