Timeframe To Buy and Sell Follow

When a lead registers on your site, we ask them what their timeframe to buy or sell is.  If they sign up through the regular registration process, meaning they clicked on a property and they signed up from there, we will ask them what their timeframe to buy is.  If a lead comes in through a home evaluation page, we will ask them what their timeframe to sell is. Below are examples of both what the buyer and the seller timeframe questions look like.

By asking the lead this question when they register, we can now tell you when exactly a buyer or seller is ready.  Right after they register the clock starts ticking down on their timeframe and this timeframe will adjust on your lead dashboard every month.  For example, if a person registers and says they will be ready to buy in 3-6 months, in 30 days their timeframe will now say 2-5 months, 1-4 months in another 30 days and "now" in another 30 days. Let's take this lead Joe John for example:

If you go into the info section of Joe John, you will see that his timeframe to buy is 3-6 months.  This is the initial timeframe that Joe put in and it will stay this way within the lead profile to show what his original answer was.  Next to the 3-6 month timeframe you will see (5 months left).  This means that Joe has been on the site for 30 days and that his max timeframe to buy is down to 5 months.

On the lead dashboard is where Joe's timeframe will count down.  You can see in the timeframe column that it says 2-5 months.  Since Joe registered 30 days ago, both his minimum and maximum timeframes have counted down by 30 days.  

How the Timeframe Filter Works

If you want to see leads that are ready to buy or sell in a specific timeframe, we have a filter for that!  To use this filter go to your lead dashboard, click on "Filters" and scroll down to "Timeframe".  Click on "Timeframe" and you can choose the timeframe you want to filter by for buyers or sellers.  If you choose "1-3 months", you will see all leads who have a beginning timeframe that falls in between 1-3 months.  For example, our lead Joe John will show in this filter because his timeframe is 2-5 months and the beginning timeframe that is 2 months which falls into that 1-3 month timeframe you just filtered by. 

The filter works the exact same on the seller side.
