Adding a CINC Phone Number Follow
CINC phone numbers are used mainly for texting your leads from the CINC platform, routing leads using Switchboard Sarah and for using the CINC Dialer, if added to your account.
You will need CINC Number assigned to you before you can text a lead from the platform or send an automated text from the platform to a lead.
This article details how you get your own CINC number.
***Note these are instructions for setting up your own number as an agent. If you are a Broker level user and wish to manage all your agent's numbers and any CINC Dialers, reference this article: Managing Agent CINC Phone Numbers
1. Navigate to your Profile and Settings page by clicking on your picture in the upper right-hand corner of the CRM.
2. Go to the Agent CINC Number section of your profile and click the +Add CINC Number button.

I am unable to find my cell phone number when I put in the area code and search. What should I do now?
Hi Julie! In this case you are not looking for your own cell phone number. You are choosing your new CINC number that enables you to text from the CINC platform. It also allows leads to respond to that number so that their response gets recorded in your CINC platform and gets forwarded to your phone.
Hi
I searched my area code 239 - nothing appears can you help?
Certain area codes of more phone number availability than others when it comes to phone numbers. Periodically, certain area codes will run out of inventory. You can try an area code that is near by. You can also contact our support team at support@cincpro.com to see if we happen to have any reserve numbers that have not been reallocated yet to our number searching tool.
When I reply to incoming texts that have been forwarded to my phone, will it automatically go to the client and appear as it is coming from my CINC phone #?
Hi Thomas,
Yes that's correct! When texting through CINC, your text responses will appear to be coming from your CINC phone # even if you're using your mobile device to reply. Check out the Help Article linked below on how to respond to text messages from CINC on your cell phone which goes into more detail on the process: https://commissionsinc.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/221960327-Texting-Leads-Through-CINC

Is there anyway that my name can pop-up on people's phones instead of the Cinc #? (caller ID)
I ask this because my friends have my personal phone number, however if I"m talking about real estate with them, I would want to text through CINC.
Jenn, unfortunately this is not an available feature with caller ID at this time. Some smart phone operating systems (definitely iOS for iPhones) are able to tag caller ID as 'Maybe: Contact Name' if the lead has your info in their texts, emails, notes, messages, etc... I couldn't find a good help doc from Apple to procide additional clarity, but to get back to your question, no we do not have the ability to do this.
