To enhance your CINC Account's security, we've recently made changes to our password requirements. This new password policy will help protect your account from any potential hacks that could expose your personal or lead data.
All agents, brokers, and partners must have a strong, unique password that includes the following elements:
- Capital Letter
- Lowercase Letter
- Special Character
- Minimum of 8 characters in length
Where can I update my password?
To change your password, log into your CINC site and navigate to the Profile and Settings section located on the upper right ride of your screen.
Within the Login Info section of your Profile, change your password with the new requirements and click Update to save your changes.
If your new password does not meet the minimum requirements you will see the following prompt and be instructed to provide a new one:

Can I continue to use the same password?
No, your new password must be different than the most recent password used.
How often will I have to reset my password?
Passwords are required to be reset/updated on a yearly basis.
Can CINC Support change my password for me?
No, however our Support team members can send you a one-time password recovery link via email or text so you can reset your password. We'll use the email address or cell phone number associated with your CINC Account.
What if I forgot my password and can't login to my CINC site? How do I receive the one-time login link?
When you choose to reset your password, after entering in your email address you will be given the option to receive the link via email or text. You'll receive it from your current email address or cell phone number on file.
How long is the reset password link good for?
This is a temporary link that is active for approximately 12 hours. If accessed after 12 hours, you'll need to restart the password reset process.
Will the password reset option be available via the CINC Agent mobile app?
At this time, it is not available via the mobile app. You will need to reset your password via your CINC platform by desktop or mobile web browser (Chrome, Safari, etc.)
Will I be alerted before my password expires?
Yes, we've added in-platform notifications to inform you that your password is about to expire.
How will I know my password needs to be reset?
We provide in-platform notifications at regular intervals until your password needs to be reset. They will appear at the following intervals 30, 15, 7, 5, 3, 2, 1 day(s) prior to the password's expiration.
