Adjusting the Permissions of an AutoTrack Template can be extremely beneficial for CINC Users that are on a team platform.
Within the Settings of your AutoTrack, enabling Permissions allows you to easily share your cadence with other team members on your CINC site. With Permissions enabled your AutoTrack essentially changes from the default setting of Private (visible and editable only to the person that created the AutoTrack) to Public (grants visibility and AutoTrack access sitewide).
Important Note: Once a CINC User decides to make their AutoTrack Public and if the same AutoTrack has Settings that include automatic Start and Stop Triggers, these triggers will apply to all agent's leads sitewide. Therefore if a Public AutoTrack is setup to start by applying a Label or by meeting a specific Pipeline Stage, anyone who uses that Label or Pipeline Stage on the website will trigger the Public AutoTrack to begin or end for their lead database too.
Additionally, we have a variety of template Permission Levels for Public AutoTracks. They are as follows:
- Can Copy = Allows other team members to view the master version of AutoTrack Template on the site. It also gives them the opportunity to make a copy of that AutoTrack's Template in order to apply it's content to their own database. Once you make an AutoTrack Public, the ability for others to Copy it's content is automatically granted to all users of the site.
- Can Edit = Allows other team members other than the AutoTrack's Owner to view and make permanent edits to the master version of the AutoTrack Template. This can be useful if a Site Owner enlists the help of an Admin to assist in making changes to a Public or sitewide AutoTrack cadence for example.
- Is Owner = You can transfer ownership to someone other than yourself using this option. Note there can only be ONE owner of an AutoTrack Template. Therefore, once you transfer ownership to someone else on the team you will lose viewing and editing rights to the master version of that template.
