AutoTrack Triggers Follow
A standout feature of AutoTracks is the ability to have your AutoTrack automatically start or stop in a variety of ways. This makes the streamlining of your communication cadences flexible and dynamic enough to suit your different needs.
In this article, we'll highlight the different Start and Stop Triggers you can use to automate your system's AutoTrack cadences. We'll also cover the different actions that can occur after an AutoTrack is completed.
AutoTrack Start Triggers
All CINC Users will see the above Start Trigger types during the step 3 of the AutoTracks Template Builder Wizard, which is to Adjust Settings.
As you can see, the types Triggers available to automatically Start an AutoTrack include:
- Applying an existing Label
- A specific Pipeline Stage being met (Attempted Contact and beyond)
- New Lead Registration from a select Landing Page
- Information from a Custom Field
- New Lead Registration from a specific Source or New Registrations from Multiple Sources.
Important Note: Source(s) are an "AND" Start Trigger. This means if you want your AutoTrack to begin based on Source(s), you MUST use it in conjunction with any of the other primary Trigger types. Source Start Triggers cannot be used independently. Ex: Clients often use Source in conjunction with identifying a specific Pipeline Stage as their AutoTrack Start Trigger settings. This allows you to set up the rule of "All Leads in New Pipeline Stage AND coming from Zillow should be enrolled in a source-specific communication cadence".
Once Start Triggers are selected, when any of those occurrences happen AFTER the respective AutoTrack is Activated, your AutoTrack cadence will automatically begin for your site. AutoTrack Start Triggers are never retroactive and will not start if the action previously occurred or was applied before the AutoTrack's activation.
Broker Level Users have the added opportunity to access the "New Lead" Start Trigger.
This means that any New Lead that registers on the website will be added to the AutoTrack once Activated. This additional Trigger type appears when Broker Level Users opt to make their AutoTrack Public and Allow other team members to access the AutoTrack Template through the Permissions feature.
AutoTrack Stop Triggers
With the exception of Checklist AutoTrack Templates, Stop Triggers are available to include with all other AutoTrack Templates. Automated Stop triggers are beneficial when certain communication or processes need no longer apply once a specific action occurs.
All CINC Users have the following Stop Trigger type options to have their AutoTrack automatically end:
- Applying an existing Label
- Specific Pipeline Stage being met
- Lead Reply to an Email from the AutoTrack cadence
Important Note: If you plan on selecting a variety of Stop Trigger types for your AutoTrack, we strongly recommend limiting your Trigger type selections to a maximum of two.
Completed AutoTrack
When an AutoTrack is complete, we also provide the following system automation opportunities:
- Take No Further Action
- Automatically Start Another AutoTrack
- Automatically Restart the AutoTrack (not available for Calendar based AutoTracks)
Having the system automatically start another AutoTrack is a great opportunity to daisy chain different AutoTracks together in a desired sequence.
Important Note: Keep in mind that when using the option to Automatically Start another AutoTrack, each of your daisy chained AutoTrack's Stop Triggers should be unique to avoid system confusion.
Restarting an AutoTrack might be a great option for processes or communication cadences that need to be started again.
